8 ways JOY leads to FAITH

Joy sometimes takes faith but joy itself leads to faith!

Romans 15:13
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

1. We should always rejoice even when we don’t feel like it

Other things flow from there. When the man found his lost sheep the first thing he did was celebrate.

Luke 15:6
And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

2. Joy always comes first

The Father calls on to us to rejoice in the lost person to be found. Even when we may have judgment, if we first rejoice compassion will follow.

3. Holiness is doing the will of the lord with joy

1 Peter 1:8

Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.

4. Following the Holy Ghost takes faith

And the best way to follow Holy Ghost is to lose all preference. This refers to preference on how we feel or what seems right or. Ames sense. Rejoicing is an action and a discipline.

Philippians 2:12-18  [12] Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. [13] For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. [14] Do all things without murmurings and disputings: [15] That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; [16] Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain. [17] Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all. [18] For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.

5. The attitude is gladness; the attitude is rejoicing

Ecclesiastes 5:18-20[18] Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion. [19] Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God. [20] For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart.

6. Joy at face value =  joy at faith value

When you respect joy by regarding all its strength it destroys opposition

Romans 15:13May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

It is a discipline because, spiritually, it is not a feeling. It is a fruit that trumps any other circumstance. When we feel fear, sadness and negative feelings it is not because of us. It is because they are the flow of this natural fallen world.

7. We are empowered by joy

Joy should always be the first thing.

Isaiah 55:12For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

Romans 15:13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Hebrews 1:9Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

8. Joy exercises and perfects faith

Whenever we are believing God for something the Devil will bring tests and trials. Difficulties are designed to get our mind out of the place of belief and begin rationalizing or doubting.

James 1:2-4[2] My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; [3] Knowing this , that the trying of your faith worketh patience. [4] But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

The key attitude to attain peace is rejoicing. The answer to tests and trials is rejoicing. The longer it takes to receive the manifestation the more we should rejoice because the closer we are to it. When we rejoice we get over to the place of receiving.
